Trees Give Us Life
And ask us for nothing in return.
They stand TALL
In their glorious beauty,
Offer us shade,
Food,
And connection
To our earth.
Reminding us of simpler days,
Outside in the sunshine
We would play,
Climb,
Hide,
Lounge.
Trees are our teachers,
Living, breathing examples
Of “Speak Your Truth”
And more importantly
“Live Your Truth.”
So listen,
Go find a tree
Ask her what she has to say.
There is much
For us to learn
And appreciate.
