Julie is a Vedic Astrologer as well as a Life & Relationship Coach based in Chicago, IL. Julie had often wondered about the theory of “fate” or “destiny”, did these concepts really exist? Do we have free will, or are we all merely actors playing out a script that was written in the stars at the time of our birth? Her curiosity propelled her to dive deep into the world of astrology. As an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she began her astrological journey in 2011 learning Western Astrology. At first Western Astrology fascinated her, but the more she learned the more she felt as though it was nothing more than a “magical” tool to psychoanalyze an individual rather than predict major life events. Then, one day by (ironically) a spectacular twist of “fate” she stumbled upon a far superior system of astrology – Vedic Astrology. This astrology was so advanced, it felt as though she had upgraded from her old Razor flip phone to her new and improved high-tech iPhone. She was delighted to find that Vedic could delineate both someone’s personality as well as major life events. From that point on Julie never looked back!
Initially self-taught, she went on to be privately mentored by a prominent practitioner of this ancient science after her mother suddenly passed away from cancer in 2015. Her tragic loss literally turned her world upside down and sent her on a search to truly understand the cosmos on a much deeper level. She wanted to further her understanding of how the planetary placements at the time of someone’s birth can not only affect them psychologically, but also tell the story of their life far before they have even lived it.
Julie and her twinkling practice have helped countless people since 2018 to align with their authentic life path as well as help them to heal from the unfortunate life events that so many of us must face. However, she quickly realized that love and relationships were a main area of concern for many of her clients. For this reason, Julie has become a relationship connoisseur. The insights that Vedic Astrology can offer in the area of romance and compatibility are extensive, and Julie has made her research into this area of life a top priority.
Julie imparts her starry-eyed wisdom at every turn. She has been the go-to astrologer at events for renowned companies such as Rebecca Minkoff, Alice and Olivia, & Bumble. What is Vedic astrology?
For those who don’t know, Vedic astrology means the “science of light” and comes from the Vedas, one of the oldest spiritual scriptures of India. Most of you probably identify with your sun sign from Western Astrology, which uses the Tropical zodiac – Vedic astrology uses the Sidereal Zodiac. For this reason, your Vedic chart may look different than your western.
Don’t worry, the sun sign you’ve identified with all these years isn’t wrong! It’s just that Vedic astrology is more predictive and Western is more psychological. Vedic is lunar based while western is solar based. Furthermore, as you will soon find out. Vedic also has many other cool aspects to it as well!

Vedic astrology is the ancient Hindu astrology. The same planets, houses and signs are used in Western astrology and Vedic astrology. Western astrology uses the seasons where Vedic astrology uses the constellations (1).

Chart Reading Requirements
In order to schedule a birth chart reading, I need your full name, birthday, birth time, and birth location. Once I have that information, we can schedule a day/time to do a Zoom audio call. Payment is made upon scheduling a time slot. Payment can be made via Venmo @Julie-Louis. However, if that payment option doesn’t work for you, then Zelle and Paypal are also options!
