1 mindfulness technique this week
Create a daily intention. Set the tone for your day, every day. Just like you shower, brush your teeth, and wash the dishes in your physical life, you will prepare your mind for the day.
“Today is going to be fun.” “Today I will enjoy my work.” “Today I will laugh.” “Today I will accomplish my tasks with ease.” Choose any intention that resonates with you.
Side note: on the days you forget to set your daily intention, you’ll notice the difference, reacting to whatever life throws at you. This practice doesn’t control your life circumstances rather it equips you to respond to life in the manner you so choose. Have fun with this one! Remember your day is up to you.
