1 mindfulness technique this week
When you feel overwhelmed, move your body.
The type of exercise doesn’t matter, as long as it’s something that gives you relief. It can be going for a walk, a swim, doing push-ups, jumping squats, lifting weights or dancing.
Exercise provides an outlet for pent up frustration. Movement metabolizes cortisol and floods your body with endorphins and other ‘feel good’ hormones. Set your timer for 1 minute and have at it!
